In this one f a kind 6-month training taught by Wayne B. Chandler and Yirser Ra Hotep and Sokhna Mabin, participants will learn how to fuse the movements and breath work of Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) and Hatha Yoga with the internal Life Force Energetics of Internal Organ Chi Gong and Nei Gong to bring about the state of Supreme Self-Realization.

The Dynamic Unity and Fusion of these ancient systems that have origins in the ancient healing traditions of the original civilizations of Africa and Asia will create a powerful force that will heal the body, balance the mind and propel one to a greater degree of self-actualization as you move through life.

We will also explore Taoist and Tantric Sexual regenerative practices. Participants will learn to create a powerful daily practice of these fused systems and to enhance and accelerate their current practice in Yoga and the other internal sciences.

Learn the following internal competencies:
•How to breath to generate life-force
•How to move to align the muscular/skeletal/bio-energetic system for proper energy flow
•How to heal your organs with specific sounds and movements
•How to balance and energize the chakras and energy channels of the body

Wayne B. Chandler MS, CPH, SCE is the author of “Ancient Future: The Teachings and Prophetic Wisdom of the Seven Hermetic Laws of Ancient Egypt” and “The Brighter Side of Darkness: A Light Warrior's Guide to Inner Alchemy and Spiritual Transformation” (Projected Publication 2008). He is an Anthro-photojournalist specializing in African and Asian civilization, philosophy and culture. From 1985 to 1995 Chandler was a regular contributor and co-author of the J.A.C. (Journal of African and Asian Civilizations), a series of books produced annually and edited by Professor Ivan Van Sertima and published by Rutgers University.  

Chandler is a motivational speaker and workshop facilitator who has lectured around the world. He began his study of Yoga spiritual science in the early 70s under the guidance of Swami Vishnudevenanda where he learned the Sivananda system of Hatha yoga and Pranayama. In 1981 he began his study of Iyengar Yoga under the instruction of John Schumacher where he achieved strong standing in the advanced levels of that system.

Chandler is also certified in the powerful healing techniques of B.E.E.M.S. (bio electric energy management systems), which he learned from Dr. Michael Frost, Pranic and Chakra healing under the tutelage of Choa Kok Sui, Spiritual Sexual Alchemy, Core Energetics and Brainwave Therapy as instructed by Mantak Chia and Ms. Minke DeVoss. He is also certified in Tui Na, one of the pillars of traditional Chinese medical science and Tao Yin Yoga as taught by Mantak Chia. As an expert in the field of Bio-Energetic Therapy, Chandler has trained other healers from various modalities instructing them in how to affect healing conditions with patients without using their own bio-energetic life force. He has conducted these workshops in Jamaica, Florida, Costa Rica, Maui, and Fiji.

Mr. Chandler is a martial artist with over 25 years of experience. He is trained in the systems of Northern Chinese Kung-fu (Chung Chuan or Long Fist). He also has extensive training in the African based martial art of Capoeira in which he has been an instructor in both Washington, DC and Cleveland, Ohio for a total of 13 yrs. Wayne has also studied under the noted martial arts expert Kilindi Iyi in martial strategy, application, and energetic displacement.

He currently studies the internal martial arts system of Pa Kua. Wayne currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio where he is the Co-Chair of ASHE Inc., a business dedicated to the reformation of the educational process in public schools through an alternative integrated curriculum and environmental strategy. ASHE Inc. operates three schools known as the Phoenix Village Academy that successfully follow this new model. ASHE Inc. also acts an in state sponsor for 12 other schools in Northern Ohio determining policy and educational direction.

Yirser Ra Hotep (Elvrid Lawrence), MSW, RYT, CKYT is the CEO of YogaSkills, founder of the Society of Kemetic Yoga and creator of the Soul Yoga Fest. He has been a master instructor and innovator of yoga for more than 30 years. He has researched and documented the African connection with yoga and has created a national teacher training certification course in Kemetic Yoga and the YogaSkills Method.

Yirser is a featured faculty at the Omega Institute and he holds a master’s degree in social service administration from the University of Chicago and has created yogic based treatment programs for substance abusers, children, and teens with special needs, AIDS patients, senior citizens, and many others. He is also a professor at DePaul University in Chicago, where he teaches courses in Stress Management, Ancient vs. Modern Science, the Science of Yoga and the African American Family.

Creator of award-winning yoga programs for children, Yirser has been seen on the Oprah Winfrey Show, WGN TV, ABC TV; featured in Ebony magazine, Yoga Journal, and the Chicago Tribune; and has lectured throughout the United States, the Caribbean and in Africa. He is the author of a 3-part set of instructional Kemetic Yoga DVDs and a 2-part guided meditation CD called Journey to Amenta.

Sokna Heathyre Mabin is a vocalist of sacred sound, teacher and student of Hatha, Kundalini, Prental and Kemetic Yoga, as well as pre/postnatal doula.  Sokhna teaches from a deeply personal and devotional practice and study of over 20 years.  Her instruction, rooted in continuous personal observation, links alignment, movement and connection to breath which when unified open the channels of fluid creative flow in the physical body.  This connection marries the physical and spiritual bodies.
